Housekeeper

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary function of this position is to perform routine housekeeping duties in assigned areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.

POSITION DUTIES

  • Clean and sanitize inpatients rooms, offices, and support areas.
  • Collect and transport trash from collection points to pickup area.
  • Audit and refill dispensers on a daily basis.
  • Observe and report the need for repairs to furniture and building to Facilities Manager.
  • Maintain working knowledge of chemical SDS's to ensure proper handling and usage.
  • Set up conference rooms for meetings.
  • Identify cleaning needs and not overlook details.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • - Complete all TGC required trainings on time.
  • - Maintains a high level of professionalism while performing job functions.
  • - Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn.
  • - This position is 100% onsite/TGC campus, in the state of Arizona.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • 1-year housekeeping experience.
  • Must pass a Reading Assessment.
  • Must be at lease 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a calm, non-defensive, supportive attitude during crisis and potential crisis situations.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment and computers or ability to learn.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment.

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma.
  • OSHA knowledge.
  • Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to effectively employ analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Medium Work: Occasionally exerting 20-50 pounds of force or frequently exerting 10-25 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body; walking or standing to a significant degree.
